Quiescence is a new word for me. The state of being at rest. And for me, that rest is in God - in His embrace ~ on a bench in the garden, observing His creativity; on the beach in the sand, watching His artwork in the sunset; worshipping Him with the sweet sounds of music; sitting by the fireplace, reading words of life in a good book.
