The front yard Magnolia

                            

Here are some pictures of my beloved Magnolia. It did bloom, although, many of the early buds did get hit with the cold, then shriveled up and died. Some of the blooms survived and there are a few more flower buds to open up yet.

                                        Looking a little more sparse than it usually does in the spring.

The flowers arrive before the leaves do, and as the pink petals start to die off, the leaves take over. Soon it will be a lush green bush. I'll miss the pink flowers of spring, but the greenery of summer is nice to see as well!
