Spring showers

Rain, today. And yesterday. After an April with hardly any rainfall, we are now getting it. But it is good. The leaves on the trees are exploding; tulips and daffodils bloom, making great cut flowers for in the house; grass is turning green; and the flowers on my lovely magnolia are just about to open up and cheer us with their beauty. Something about spring is so encouraging and refreshing. It gives a hop to our step, joy to our hearts, and it leads up to another great season! So, I can live with the rain, and the sometimes dreary days that come with it. Because I see what good it is doing, and I know what is coming next!
